The job title in the posting is the single most direct keyword a recruiter searches for. How often a resume leaves it out varies more by occupation than any other measure in this dataset.

Method and limitations
- Source: resume-to-job-posting scans run on 22 Skills between 2025-10-05 and 2026-09-10, registered and anonymous. Every figure is an aggregate query result; no resume or posting text is read or published.
- Unit: a unique resume-to-posting pair, taking the last scan of each pair, so re-scans of the same resume against the same posting are counted once.
- Scores come from 22 Skills’ own keyword model, not from any employer’s applicant tracking system. The match score is 0–100.
- Occupation is assigned by rule from the posting’s job-title requirement, so counts are close estimates. Occupations are published only with at least 30 pairs.
- Skill lists use English-language postings only (language detected per posting) and drop the keyword extractor’s uncategorised tokens and one- and two-letter terms it cannot match reliably.
- Percentages are rounded down. Definitions match the Resume Keyword Gap Report 2026.
