Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using 22 Skills ("Service") you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is operated by Astaprime Sp. z o.o. (also referred to as "we", "us", or "our"), a limited liability company registered in Poland at ul. Szlak 77/222, 31-153 Kraków, Poland.
The English version of these Terms is the legally authoritative version. Translations into other languages are provided for convenience only.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service (18 in jurisdictions where 16 is insufficient). By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement. The Service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
3. Description of the Service
22 Skills is an AI-powered career tool that helps job seekers optimise their application materials for Applicant Tracking Systems ("ATS"). The Service includes:
- ATS Resume Analyser — analyses your resume against a job description and returns a match score, matched keywords, and missing keywords.
- AI Resume Rewriter — rewrites sections of your resume to integrate missing keywords.
- Cover Letter Generator — generates a tailored cover letter based on your resume and the job description (Career Boost feature).
- LinkedIn Profile Optimiser — analyses your LinkedIn profile text and suggests improvements (Career Boost feature).
- ATS Report Generator — produces a detailed ATS compatibility report (Career Boost feature).
- Data Management — save and manage multiple resume versions and job descriptions (authenticated users).
- Analysis History — view and re-run past analyses (authenticated users).
A free tier is available with core functionality. Premium features require a paid subscription or one-time purchase as described in Section 7.
4. Account Registration
Account registration is optional. Users without an account may perform a limited number of analyses but cannot save data or access history.
You may create an account using:
- Email address and password (via Supabase Auth)
- Sign in with Google (OAuth 2.0 via Google)
- Sign in with Apple (on iOS devices, via Apple's authentication service)
By creating an account you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Keep your credentials secure and not share them
- Notify us immediately at inquiries@astaprime.com if you suspect unauthorised access
- Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
We may suspend or terminate accounts where information is found to be inaccurate, false, or where these Terms are violated.
5. Acceptable and Prohibited Use
5.1 Permitted Use
You may use the Service only for lawful personal career-development purposes, including analysing and improving your own resume, cover letters, and professional profile.
5.2 Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Submit another person's resume or personal data without their explicit consent
- Use the Service to generate misleading, fraudulent, or fabricated resume content
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the Service
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable law
- Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code through the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
6. AI-Powered Features — How Your Data Is Processed
6.1 AI Providers
The Service uses two third-party AI providers to process your content:
- OpenAI, Inc. (primary) — models
gpt-4o-miniandgpt-3.5-turbo. OpenAI is a US-based company. Your content is processed on OpenAI's servers in accordance with their API data usage policies. OpenAI Privacy Policy ↗ - Anthropic, PBC (fallback) — model

6.2 What Data Is Sent to AI Providers
The following table shows exactly what content is transmitted to OpenAI and/or Anthropic for each feature:

Content is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. We do not send your name, email address, or account identifiers to AI providers.
6.3 AI Training — Your Data Is Not Used to Train AI Models
Neither OpenAI nor Anthropic use data submitted through their APIs to train or improve their AI models, under their respective commercial API terms. This applies to all content you submit through 22 Skills. Astaprime Sp. z o.o. does not use your content to train any AI model.
6.4 AI Output Disclaimer
AI-generated suggestions are provided for guidance only. You acknowledge that:
- AI analysis is an approximation; different employers use different, proprietary ATS systems that we have no access to
- AI output may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable — always review AI suggestions before using them
- AI-rewritten resume content may not accurately represent your experience if used without your review and editing
- LinkedIn profile suggestions may not reflect the actual LinkedIn algorithm or ranking factors
- We do not guarantee that using the Service will result in job interviews, offers, or any specific employment outcome
7. Subscription Plans and Billing
7.1 Plans and Pricing
The Service offers the following plans:
- Free — Limited analyses without an account; unlimited analyses with a free account. No payment required.
- Pro (Monthly) — $14.99 USD / €14.99 EUR / zł49 PLN per month. Recurring subscription, billed monthly.
- Pro (Quarterly) — $39 USD / €39 EUR / zł129 PLN per quarter. Recurring subscription, billed every three months.
- Career Boost — $67 USD one-time payment. Provides 30 days of access to Cover Letter Generator, LinkedIn Profile Optimiser, and ATS Report Generator.
Prices are displayed in your local currency where supported. The applicable currency is confirmed at checkout. All prices are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
7.2 Payment Processing
All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc., a third-party payment processor. Your payment details are entered directly into Stripe's secure interface and are never stored on our servers. By making a purchase you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.
7.3 Auto-Renewal
Pro subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will receive advance notice of any price changes before they take effect.
7.4 Cancellation
You may cancel a Pro subscription at any time via Settings → Billing → Manage Subscription in your account, or by contacting us at inquiries@astaprime.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until that date. Career Boost is a one-time purchase and cannot be cancelled once the 30-day access period has begun.
7.5 Refund Policy
General rule — all purchases are non-refundable. We provide a free tier with core functionality so you can evaluate the Service before purchasing. We encourage you to use the free tier first.
EU/EEA consumers — 14-day right of withdrawal: If you are a consumer habitually resident in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase contract within 14 calendar days of the date of purchase, without giving any reason, in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU).
To exercise this right, email us at inquiries@astaprime.com within 14 days of your purchase date, stating that you wish to withdraw. We will process your full refund within 14 days of receiving your request, using the same payment method you used for the original transaction. Upon refund, your access to paid features ends immediately.
All other users — additional exceptions: We will also issue a refund to any user if:
- You were charged in error (e.g., a duplicate charge)
- The Service was unavailable for a materially significant period during your paid term
- Applicable mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction requires a refund
To request a refund under one of the above exceptions, contact us at inquiries@astaprime.com within 30 days of the charge.
7.6 Failed Payments
If a recurring payment fails, we will retry the charge. If payment cannot be collected, your subscription will be downgraded to the free tier and you will lose access to premium features.
7.7 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change prices. We will notify you at least 30 days in advance of any price increase affecting your active subscription. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new price.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
8.1 Your Content
You retain all intellectual property rights in the content you submit (resumes, job descriptions, LinkedIn profile text). By submitting content, you grant Astaprime Sp. z o.o. a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and transmit your content solely to provide the Service to you. We will not use your content for any other purpose.
8.2 AI-Generated Output
AI-generated suggestions, rewritten text, cover letters, and reports produced for you are provided for your personal use. Ownership of AI-generated content may be subject to applicable law in your jurisdiction; we make no representation about the copyright status of AI output.
8.3 Our Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, algorithms, code, branding, and all content we create, is the exclusive property of Astaprime Sp. z o.o. and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
Our use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Key points:
- Your data is stored using industry-standard database security measures, including strict data isolation that ensures no other user can access your data
- Resume content, LinkedIn profile text, job descriptions, and generated outputs sent to AI providers are transmitted to OpenAI and/or Anthropic as described in Section 6
- Your resume data is not sold, shared for marketing, or used to train AI models
- Non-authenticated users: content submitted for analysis is processed in memory and not persisted to our database
- You may delete your account and all associated data at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account
- We are subject to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as a company established in Poland
Your resume and career data may be transferred to the United States (where OpenAI and Anthropic are based) for AI processing. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and/or appropriate safeguards under GDPR Chapter V for such transfers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
10. Mobile Applications
22 Skills is available as an iOS application distributed through the Apple App Store.
- Apple EULA: In addition to these Terms, use of the iOS app is subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. In the event of a conflict, these Terms take precedence to the extent permitted.
- App Store rules: Apple is not a party to these Terms and has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the iOS app. Apple has no responsibility for any claims relating to the app.
- Sign in with Apple: When you authenticate using Sign in with Apple on iOS, Apple may provide a private relay email address. We store this as your account email and use it only to manage your account.
- Device data: The iOS app may access your device's file system solely to allow you to upload PDF resumes. We do not access any other device files or contacts.
- In-app purchases: Premium features on iOS are not currently available via in-app purchase. Subscriptions purchased on the web apply to your account across all platforms.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times
- AI analysis will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific situation
- The Service will be compatible with any particular employer's ATS system
- Any errors in the Service will be corrected within a specific timeframe
Nothing in this section limits statutory rights that cannot be excluded under applicable mandatory consumer protection law.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ASTAPRIME SP. Z O.O., ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
In any case, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) €50 EUR.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Astaprime Sp. z o.o. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights; or (d) content you submit that causes harm to a third party.
14. Termination
By you: You may close your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account or by emailing inquiries@astaprime.com. Closing your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription; cancel your subscription first via Settings → Billing.
By us: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. We will give you reasonable prior notice unless immediate action is required for security reasons.
On termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email (if you have an account) or by a prominent notice on the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and may close your account.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kraków, Poland.
EU/EEA consumers: Nothing in this clause deprives you of the protection of mandatory provisions of consumer protection law in the country where you habitually reside. EU consumers may also bring proceedings before the courts of their country of residence and may access the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
UK consumers: UK users retain all rights under UK consumer law and may bring proceedings before UK courts.
17. Dispute Resolution
Before initiating formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at inquiries@astaprime.com to resolve any dispute informally. We will make every reasonable effort to resolve complaints within 30 days.
EU consumers may also submit complaints to the relevant national consumer protection authority or use alternative dispute resolution (ADR) bodies. A list of ADR entities is available through the EU ODR platform above.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms continue in full force and effect.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Astaprime Sp. z o.o. regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
